Controversy
Plagiarism
In August 2018, Boomstick Gaming accused IGN of plagiarising his review of the game Dead Cells. IGN announced that it had “parted ways” with the accused editor, and removed the plagiarised review. It was later discovered that other reviews were affected,[1] which led to the removal of “pretty much everything” by the editor. In a deleted response video, he stated that the plagiarism was “not intentional,”[2] but apologised to IGN.[3]
