Courtney Michaela Ann "Coco" Jones[1] (born: January 4, 1998 (1998-01-04) [age 27])[1] is an American[2] singer and actress known for her music and for her work with Disney. Her first big breakthrough was her feature on Radio Disney's Next Big Thing.[3]

Career

Television

In 2009, Jones performed live on "The Most Talented Kids" episode of the Maury Povich Show.[4] In 2010, she was the runner up during season 3 of Radio Disney's The Next Big Thing singing competition[3], and in 2011, she guest-starred on Disney Channel's series So Random!.[5]

In 2012, she starred in the Disney movie, Let It Shine, taking the role of Roxie.[6]

In 2021, she was cast as Hilary Banks in Peacock's Bel-Air, a reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It premiered in 2022.[7]

Music

In 2006, Jones competed on Radio Disney, where she became known for the song "Real You".[8]

Shortly after finishing as the runner-up in season 3 of Radio Disney's The Next Big Thing, she released her self-titled EP[9] and began an anti-bullying themed concert tour known as UBU-Stop the Bullying.[10]

She signed a record deal with Hollywood Records.[11] Her debut single, "Holla at the DJ", premiered on Radio Disney in 2012.[12]

Her extended play, Made Of, released in 2013[13], and toured with boy band Mindless Behavior later that year.[14]

In 2022, Jones released ger major label debut single "Caliber", which served as the lead single for her major label debut EP What I Didn't Tell You.[15]

Channel

Jones created her channel on January 17, 2008,[2] and she uploaded her first video on the same day.[16] She uploads music videos and audio to her channel.[17][18]
