774 inc. is a Japanese Virtual Entertainment company headquartred in Akabane, Kita-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Originally just consisting of AniMare, the company now has several branches in the form of VTuber agencies, and as of August 2021, is the third most subscribed VTuber agency in the world after Hololive and Nijisanji, hosting over 2.2 million subscribers combined.
History
The company formally revealed itself by opening its website in June 2019, though prior to this it had already been in the VTuber business and streaming. For a short while, upd8 had control of Animare and HoneyStrap, though as of April 2020 this is no longer the case. Like Nijisanji, the company uses Anycolor Inc.'s technology for motion capture purposes.
