In Yo-kai Watch Busters 2, Zomboy is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Asura.

Biology
Zomboy is a half-human, half-zombie Yo-kai. He has red-orange hair resembling flames. His body is partially zombified, with sections of green, decayed skin—most notably on the right side of his face and body. His right arm, parts of his left arm, and the upper right side of his face bear a stitched scar, dividing his eyes. His ear on this side is a green pointed ear while the other is a simple human ear. His eyes are heterochromatic—his right eye has a black sclera with a red pupil, while his left eye has a white sclera with a blue pupil. He wears an open brown sleeveless jacket, along with a bandage wrapped around his waist to partially conceal his zombified torso. His right hand and leg are replaced with metal prosthetics, covering his arm up to the elbow and his leg from the knee down. For additional accessories, Zomboy wears a black glove on his left hand, a long dark gray scarf that conceals his nose and lower face, and goggles around his neck. He wears blue trousers, which are torn at the right and brown shoes. Zomboy wields a Yo-kai Chain Sword, which he always keeps with him, adding to his rugged and battle-hardened appearance.
As a human, he had soft tan skin and his hair was a mix of purplish-brown, tied into a short, voluminous ponytail, with a side-swept bang falling to the left of his face. His eyes were rounded and tired-looking, with grayish-blue irises, and he had dark circles beneath them. He wore a simple sleeveless white tunic that reached his knees with an orange belt tied with a golden ring. Around his neck, he wore a golden necklace adorned with turquoise stone plates and matching golden cuffs encircled his wrists.

Zomboy can be befriended through a daily battle after clearing the quest "The Sorrows of Old Zomboy" To obtain this quest you have to be playing as Nate and go to the Graveyard next to the East Pine church at night time, you also have to have at least cleared Chapter 6.
After completing said quest, Zomboy remembers his life as a human, in service to a prince.

Zomboy can rarely be befriended after completing the dungeon named after him.

In the anime
Back when Zomboy was a human, he used to care for Nyanses II before he was put into a coffin. Zomboy makes a short cameo as one of the Yo-kai that attains a map to the eight treasure Yo-kai. He eventually has his first major role in EP183 where he meets Indiana Jaws, Jibanyan T and Komasan T while exploring a dungeon and joins them afterwards.
He, like Indiana Jaws, tends to fall easily for the dungeons' different traps as a running gag, although he would just reply that those won't work as he's already dead.
Etymology
- Zomboy is a portmanteau of zombie and boy.
- His Japanese name Zom B Chopper comes from the musical artist John B. Chopper also known as Kuroda Toshihiro a bassist of the Japanese band Ulfuls.
- "Adoleszombi" combines "Adolescente" (Teen) and "Zombie".
Trivia
- His Japanese catchphrase is a reference to the famous line "Omae wa mou shindeiru," which translates to "You're already dead." The line is saidfrom Kenshiro, the main character of the long-running franchise Fist of the North Star.
- Zomboy's "random" nicknames in Yo-kai Watch 3 are: Patches, Chopson, Zomborg and Cutter.
- In the anime, Indiana Jaws, Komasan T, Jibanyan T, Nyanses II and Shovulcan call him "Zom B. Chopper", he presented himself like that, but in Busters 2 and Yokai Watch 3 everyone calls him "Zomboy".
