Soloman (Japanese: おひとり様 Ohitori-sama) is a Rank C, Lightning-attribute Yo-kai of the Eerie tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch 3.

Soloman resembles a slim man with an oddly shaped oval head standing upwards, with dark blue hair. He wears a lime green robe and a hat of the same color with a white ribbon hanging from it. The most noticeable traits of his appearance, however, are his wooden table which has a plank on each side and the yellow cloud he is riding on.

Soloman can be found in the Junk Alley.

He can also be freed from the Springdale Crank-a-kai with a Purple Coin.

He can also be found in Blasters T in Mt. Cluvimpus - Righteous Zazel.

Etymology

  • "Ohitori" roughly translates to "one person/party of one", and is used to refer to people that live and do things alone.
  • "Soloman" is a pun on "solo man" and "Solomon."
  • "Sololo" could be a contraction of the phrase "Solo lo hago" (I do it alone) with "Solomon."

Trivia

  • Soloman does not have a real life medal counterpart.
  • He may be based on a Taoist cultivator considering his aesthetics.
