Kuroi Yokai Watch ~Guided Scum~ First Person: "Nate" (Japanese: 黒い妖怪ウォッチ 〜導かれしクズたち〜 一人目『ケータ』,Kuroi yōkai u~otchi 〜michibika reshi kuzu-tachi〜 hitori-me “kēta”), Komasan and Komajiro's Japanese Whole Country Journey: IN Kagawa (Japanese: コマさんコマじろうの日本全国もんげー旅 IN香川,Komasan komajirō no nipponzenkoku monge ̄tabi iin Kagawa) and Yo-kai Gabby (Japanese: 妖怪 スピーチ姫,Yōkai Supīchi hime) is the 156th episode of the Yo-kai Watch anime series. It was broadcasted in Japan on February 3, 2017.
In an alternate dimension, Kuroi Jibanyan and Kuroi Komasan are tasked to find humans who are not worthy of their existence. Komasan and Komajiro travel to Kagawa for some sightseeing. On a day that the students have to give a speech presentation, Eddie suddenly finds himself the confidence to do it, under Yo-kai Gabby's control.
Kuroi Nate makes a reference to Gegege no Kitaro by mentioning the "eyeball person" and the character named Keitaro. Their real-world equivalents would coincidentally later appear in M04.
The background where Komasan makes his udon is reused from the Jinsei Dramatic opening.
The scene where Manjimutt “accidentally” shapes noodle dough into an erotic female body has its animation reused from Manjimutt: Part 6. Komasan and Komajiro's reaction to his rearrest also references his ride on Komasan Cab: Manjimutt, where Komasan says that "he never got reformed".
The imaginative title screen of Gabby's speech tutorial is a reference to the original Super Mario Bros. game, referencing the origin of Gabby's Japanese name.
This is the sixth time a Yo-kai gets an unlucky summon.
And the third time Jibanyan gets an unlucky summon.
Errors
In the scene where Gabby gives Nate her Yo-kai Medal, the bee on Nate's head is temporarily missing.
