Manjimutt: Part 5 (Japanese: じんめん犬Ｐａｒｔ５, Jinmenken Pāto Faibu), Yo-kai Blazion (Japanese: 妖怪メラメライオン, Yōkai Merameraion), Yo-kai Negatibuzz (Japanese: 妖怪ネガティブーン, Yōkai Negatibūn), and The Sleepover (Japanese: 禁断のお泊り会, Kindan no Otomarikai) is the 6th episode of the Yo-kai Watch anime series. It was broadcasted in Japan on Feburary 19, 2014 and in the United States on October 13, 2015.

Summary

Manjimutt tries an apprenticeship at a bakery, but cannot overcome his canine urges. Nate and his friends get possessed by the Yo-kai Blazion during a park cleanup, making them unusually fired up about the task. Nate gets a sore tooth and is sent to a dentist who is currently depressed due to the actions of Negatibuzz. Bear and Eddie sleep over at Nate's house, and the three secretly watch a late night TV show, but their plans are later disrupted by the electricity-eating Yo-kai Signibble.

One day, Whisper and Nate's mother notices that Nate has a cavity inside his mouth and says that he needs to visit the dentist to check up on it, but Nate is worried about going there. Later on at school, Bear and Eddie find out about the news but reassures Nate that the doctor at the dentist lets him play video games during the appointment.

While Nate makes his way to the dentist after school, he is happy about what Bear and Eddie said while Whisper takes it as him encouraging to take proper care of his teeth. At the time of the checkup, the doctor worriedly asks him to open his mouth but he's too scared to look inside of it. Nate thinks that he's acting odd, but the doctor tries to check inside his mouth again, this time with a regressive reaction.

Nate is suspicious of the doctor once again, and thinks that a Yo-kai is behind the unexpected happening so he uses the Yo-kai Watch and finds Yo-kai Negatibuzz with it. After Whisper explains about the Yo-kai's effects, Nate notices that the doctor has been acting even more worried over the simplest mistake happening. The doctor asks if Nate is okay, but he carelessly responds with a negative answer which also makes the doctor overthink more about his emotions.

The doctor apologizes to Nate and doesn't want to work at the dentist, while Nate tries to change his mind in a positive manner but to no avail. Whisper suggests Nate to summon a Yo-kai, where he thinks of several options like Manjimutt (as well as an imaging scene of them negatively contemplating about life), but Whisper picks out Blazion as an option hoping he would build some motivation to fix Nate's cavity.

After Nate summons Blazion, he orders him to inspirit the doctor which makes him extra motivated to do his job. The doctor suddenly goes all out with using his tools to fix Nate's cavity, eventually making him feel scared in the process.

The Sleepover

Nate, Bear and Eddie are having a sleepover at Nate's house, where Nate asks his mother to sleep in the living room rather than in his bedroom, while not knowing what their intentions are. A few moments later, they're all excited to watch some late-night programming. Jibanyan and Whisper watches them from another room, explaining to Jibanyan that what they're doing is morally wrong and not suitable for their age, but he ignores Whisper's warning and feels excited to see some age-inappropriate content on television.

Later on through the night, Eddie quietly assumes that Nate's parents have gone to bed and gets him and Bear ready to watch some late-night television programming. When they turn on the television, they're extremely excited to see some scantily-clad girls playing at a water park, that turn out to be Next HarMEOWny. Jibanyan (while Whisper watches them) is surprised to find that they're on there and gets overexcited about them.

Suddenly, the television automatically changes the channel which breaks the excitement of everyone else but Bear changes it back to the program they were watching. The channel is automatically changed back to the same show, which ruins the atmosphere once again but Whisper silently gets Nate's attention and convinces him that a Yo-kai is behind the unexpected act.

Nate finds Yo-kai Signibble with the Yo-kai Watch, and notices him while Bear and Eddie forcefully reminds him to be quiet so they don't wake their parents up. Away from Bear and Eddie's view, Whisper explains about Yo-kai Signibble's abilities which prompts Nate to summon a Yo-kai but Jibanyan decides to handle it instead.

Jibanyan attacks Signibble with his moves, while the latter zaps him in retaliation so he tries to suck him with the vacuum cleaner. The Yo-kai accidentally sucks Whisper into the vaccuum so Nate tries to handle it instead only for Bear and Eddie to unexpectedly notice him with it and waking up Nate's parents in the process.

Signibble automatically turns on the television, which shows the suggestive Next HarMEOWny program right in front of his parents as an apparent way to learn his lesson. Nate's mother unplugs the television and directly asks them to go to sleep. They're all disappointed that they never got to watch the full show, but are happy that they got to see some of it and hopes they get to watch it fully next time. While they doze off to sleep, Nate asks Jibanyan where Whisper is, revealing that he's stuck inside the vacuum cleaner he was sucked in earlier.

The scenes with Next HarMEOWny in swimsuits on television were completely cut on Cartoon Network UK and Ireland and SpaceToon airings in the United Arab Emirates, even though the outfits have been already edited.
The Sleepover, Yo-kai Nosirs, Yo-kai B3-NK1 and Yo-kai Top Ten are the only episodes to be reanimated by OLM for the English dub, which are of the scenes of a pastry chef appearing on television.
When the dentist becomes inspirited by Blazion, he holds the dental tools in a similar fashion to Wolverine.

Dub differences

In the first segment of the original version and the Asian English dub, Manjimutt used the name "Yamada Toshio" (family name first, in both versions and as shown here) when applying for a job as a patisserie. However, in the English dub, Manjimutt never mentioned his name when applying for a job as a "pastry chef".
- Part of the bumper can be heard after Blazion's segment even though it was cut from the English dub.
The "Adult NyaKB Night" program goes unnamed in English version.
The on-screen warning for when Nate, Bear and Eddie turn on the television to watch in the dark was removed in the English dub.
The parental controls joke was added into the English dub.
The bikinis that were worn by Next HarMEOWny were edited to look like one-piece bathing suits.
The show that kept interrupting the Next HarMEOWny program in the original version was a workout program with muscular men wearing suggestive clothing. In the English dub, it was completely changed to a cooking show.
- When the episode was temporarily uploaded to the Yo-kai Watch official YouTube channel, the chef on the cooking show was a shot from the Manjimutt segment earlier in the episode. In the version aired on Disney XD and later home media releases, the image for the cooking show is drawn just for this segment. It's possible the version that was uploaded to YouTube was an earlier or preliminary version of the edit.

Errors

When Nate asks the dentist to change his emotions, the smaller hand on his Yo-kai Watch is miscolored black.
