Late to School!! is the first bonus chapter in the Yo-kai Watch manga series.
Plot
Nate exclaims that he's late for school, asking Whisper why he didn't wake him up earlier. Whisper however is just waking up too. Whisper beats himself up for failing Nate but Nate just asks him to help him get to school on time. Instead of helping, Whisper tells Nate to use his watch and goes back to sleep. Nate summons Jibanyan however he is also sleepy. Giving in, Jibanyan lets Nate climb on his back and he runs to school. However, they manage to run into a speeding truck and Nate proclaims he should have just gone in late.
This chapter features a bonus manga.
Nate summons Jibanyan and asks Whisper why his watch looks different to the one from the video game. Whisper explains that the designs weren't finalised when they started the manga. Nate cries that the fact was meant to be kept a secret.
