Staminan (スタミナン, Sutaminan) is the name of a line of energy drinks commonly found in convenience stores, drug stores and pawn shops. They can also be obtained from enemies or missions and substories as rewards. On use, health and heat are restored to the player.
During Goro Majima's boss fight against Akira Nishikiyama in Yakuza 0, Reina throws Nishikiyama a Staminan X which initiates a quick time event. If the player fails the quick time event, Nishikiyama will catch the drink and heal himself. Otherwise, Majima will catch it and heal himself instead.
In the Like a Dragon live action movie, Kazuma Kiryu regains energy and heals his wounds by drinking a Staminan X he came into possession of earlier in the movie. It is with this boost that he is ultimately able to win the film's final battle against Akira Nishikiyama.
