Roulette (ルーレット, Rūretto) is a minigame in the Like a Dragon series first introduced in Yakuza.
Overview
Description
Roulette is a casino gambling game where a ball is thrown on a spinning wheel with the numbers 0, 00, and 1-36, and participants bet on which slot of the wheel the ball will land on.
Betting
Once the ball has been thrown, 30 seconds are given to place bets on a board with labels corresponding to one or more slots of the wheel. There is no numerical limit to the amount of bets that can be placed, but the total amount of chips bet cannot exceed 1,000.
The winnings will vary based on which space the bet is placed in. On the "Inside", bets can be placed on borders to cover more than one space; this cannot be done on or with the "Outside".

High-Stakes Play
A play option that may become available after playing multiple games consecutively. For five games, payouts are doubled and only up to five bets can be made. Available in Yakuza Kiwami.
Survival
A special mode where seven tokens are placed on the board by the player and the dealer. A token is removed if the ball lands on a slot which corresponds to the token's occupied space. Whoever loses are their tokens loses the game. Available in Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 0 after playing several games. Requires 10,000 chips in inventory to play.
Dealer Mode allows Survival to be played as the dealer.
