Koji (宏次, Kōji) is a recurring character in the Yakuza series introduced in Yakuza 3. He is a resident of Morning Glory Orphanage.
Profile
Personality
Koji is into sports and often pesters the other children into playing at the beach with him. He taught Mitsuo how to play baseball, but Mitsuo subsequently outgrew him in talent. Later on, he develops an interest in reading Manga.

Koji is considering quitting school to find a job in order to make money for the financially-crippled orphanage, which convinces Kiryu to take Mirei Park's offer of making Haruka an idol in exchange for funding.
Koji receives ¥10,000 in the ATM from Kiryu with the purpose of purchasing a signature series glove for Christmas.
Yakuza 6: 2012-2017
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name: 2019
Koji has begun working at an unnamed company. He visits Kiryu's grave on the anniversary of his death alongside Mitsuo, Eri, Shiro, Izumi, and Riona after Haruka and Haruto leave, but before Ayako and Taichi arrive.
