Extracts

Extracts (仙薬, Sen'yaku, Lit. "Elixirs") are temporary power-ups in Judgment and Lost Judgment that grant Takayuki Yagami various powers and moves for a period of time.

Methods of Procurement

Judgment

Extracts can either be crafted by finding and mixing various ingredients around Kamurocho, or bought from Iyama the Hermit at the Dragon Palace. To increase the recipe list, Yagami must make the extracts requested by Iyama and then show them to him. The recipes come in sets, and each set is unlocked as Yagami's friendship with Iyama progresses.

Only one extract can be equipped at a time, and using another extract cancels the effect of an existing extract.

Lost Judgment

Extracts can once again either be crafted by finding and mixing various ingredients around Kamurocho and Ijincho, or bought from specific extract vendors in the cities. Every extract also requires an "Empty Extract Vessel", which will be put back in Yagami's inventory once he drinks an extract. 5 of these vessels can be found, only under certain circumstances:

Given to Yagami by Iyama upon their meeting
By being bought at Yi Xing Tang for 100,000 yen
By being bought at Onodera's Wares for 4,800 SP
By being bought at Heaven's Door Casino for 50,000 chips

Judgment

Set 1

Growth Extract: Increases SP obtained by 10%. Lasts for 180 seconds.
Luck Extract: Improves enemy item drop rate. Lasts for 180 seconds.
Throw Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami do Hiroyoshi Tenzan's piledriver attack. Lasts for 20 seconds.

Set 2

Flash Dancer Extract: Increases Crane style combo speed. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Fast Fighter Extract: Increases Tiger style combo speed. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Swing Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami do Kazuma Kiryu's default throw from Yakuza 6. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Power Attack Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami do Ryuji Goda's 6-hit combo from Yakuza Kiwami 2. Lasts for 20 seconds.

Set 3

Stealth Extract: Lowers encounter rate. Lasts for 240 seconds.
Rejuvenation Extract: Gradually restores Yagami's health. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Guard Breaker Extract: All of Yagami's attacks can now break enemy guard. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Deadly Crane Extract: Pressing the grab button allows Yagami to bypass Deadly Attacks. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Deadly Tiger Extract: Pressing the grab button allows Yagami to bypass Deadly Attacks. Lasts for 20 seconds. It is a 9 hit move with the last (9th hit) sending the enemy backwards. (This is a reused animation throughout the whole series (except for spin-offs) when you press the grab button with brass knuckles equipped).

Set 4

Dance Fighter Extract: Increases combo speed for both styles. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Punch-Out Extract: Allows Yagami to quickstep continuously. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Flowing Willow Extract: Allows Yagami to parry most attacks automatically.
Beatdown Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami floor the enemy, and repeatedly pressing the same button has him pummel them. Lasts for 20 seconds.
One-Two Knockout Extract: Pressing the grab button twice has Yagami do the first 2 hits of Bruce Ebinuma's Rush Combo. Lasts for 20 seconds.

Set 5

Die Hard Extract: Fully recovers Yagami's health if he is dead. Lasts for 180 seconds.
Thunderstrike Extract: Gives Yagami immunity against being stunned and allows him to interrupt any guard or attack. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Blazing Barrage Extract: Pressing the grab button 4 times will have Yagami do Daisaku Kuze's weaving punch combo. Lasts for 20 seconds.

DLC Extracts

Energy Ball Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami shoot purple-colored energy balls out of his hands.
Energy Explosion Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami punch the ground and create a blast of hellfire.
Instant Kill Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami use a massive blast of energy to instantly kill all enemies.
Fire Element Extract: Engulfs Yagami in flames and has all his attacks set enemies on fire.
Lightning Element Extract: Engulfs Yagami in lightning and has all his attacks electrocute enemies.
Heavenstrike Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami call for a laser strike against anyone opposing him.
Fighting Spirit Dance Extract: Yagami dances in place as his health is regained gradually.
Dance of Life Extract: Yagami dances in place as his health is regained.
Mystical Dance Extract: Yagami does Goro Majima's "24-Hour Cinerella" finger wag as a portion of his health is regained instantly.

Lost Judgment

Super Strength Extract: Allows Yagami to break enemy guard and lift heavy weapons such as motorcycles, and prevents him from flinching. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Rushing Tiger Extract: In Tiger style, Yagami's attack damage is massively increased. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Savage Slam Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami do Taiga Saejima's grab action from Yakuza 4 and 5. Lasts for 15 seconds.
Warrior's Onslaught Extract: Pressing the grab button 6 times has Yagami do a devastating 6-hit combo. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Dancing Crane Extract: Yagami can quickstep to cancel most moves, and even dodge bullets. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Snap Counter Extract: Allows Yagami to perform a Mortal Reversal upon any enemy attack. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Die Hard Extract: exactly the same as in Judgment. Lasts for 120 seconds.
Willow Snake Extract: In Snake style, all guards become parries. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Versatility Extract: Switching between styles regenerates Yagami's health and increases his attack power. Lasts for 10 seconds, though the timer resets every time Yagami switches to a style.
Diplomatic Solution Extract: Exactly the same as Beatdown Extract from Judgment. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Vital Spirit Extract: Yagami's health and EX recover gradually, and guarding increases the rate of recovery. Lasts for 120 seconds.
Lubrication Tactic: Pressing the grab button has Yagami throw a goo that causes anyone who walks over it to slip. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Smoke Bomb Tactic: Pressing the grab button has Yagami throw a smoke bomb. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Deceptive Mist Tactic: Pressing the grab button has Yagami unleash a mist that causes enemies to fight each other. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Super Grip Extract: Increases Yagami's grab power. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Tree Trunk Legs Extract: Increases Yagami's running speed and skateboard acceleration, and prevents him from stumbling during a chase. Lasts for 300 seconds.
Provocateur Extract: Increases encounter rate. Lasts for 300 seconds.
Energy Burst Extract: Exactly the same as Energy Explosion Extract from Judgment. Lasts for 60 seconds. Also used by Juzo Amon.
Mystical Dance Extract: Exactly the same as in Judgment, and also prevents Yagami from taking damage while the animation plays. Lasts for 60 seconds. Also used by Juzo Amon.

DLC Extracts

Energy Ball Extract: Exactly the same as in Judgment. Also used by Juzo Amon.
Lightning Blade Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami summon a lightning sword which he can use against enemies. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Telekinesis Extract: Holding the grab button has Yagami telekinetically lift all nearby enemies to damage them. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Insta-Flux Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami use Flux Fissure upon the nearest enemy. Timing the attack correctly will have Yagami instantly travel to the next enemy. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Unyielding Wave Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami do Raoh's Hokuto Gosho Ha from Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Guardian Spirit Extract: Orbs appear around Yagami that prevent enemies from hitting him. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Temporal Zen Extract: Time will randomly slow down in battle, allowing Yagami to hit enemies easier. Lasts for 60 seconds.
Heavenstrike Extract: Exactly the same as in Judgment. Lasts for 60 seconds. Also used by Juzo Amon.
Boon of Fire Extract: Exactly the same as Fire Element Extract in Judgment.
Dance of Life Extract: Exactly the same as in Judgment.
Deadly Tiger Extract: Pressing the grab button has Yagami do Kazuma Kiryu's brass knuckles special combo. Also used by Juzo Amon.
