Yumsmith

Yumsmith (Japanese: ヤムスミス, Yamusumisu) is a Kevesi Attacker class in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.[1][2]

Overview

Yumsmith is a versatile Attacker class that specializes in exploiting enemies' weak points and inflicting debuffs. It is the Class of Riku & Manana. It is unlocked upon completing the Hero Quest A Nopon's Counsel, which is required to progress the story. The Class Rank maximum can be increased to 20 by completing the Ascension Quest Culinary Repertoire.

Class Stats

The Yumsmith class grants the following multipliers to a character's base stats (see their individual pages for their base stats), and sets their Physical and Ether Defense to the following values, depending on their current Rank. Intermediate values are linearly interpolated between the minimum and maximum values, rounding to the nearest percent.

Weapon Stats

The character's Attack stat after being modified by the above class stats is further modified by adding the class's weapon stat, which depends on the character's Level, to obtain the final base Attack stat. These weapon stats also determine the character's Critical Rate and Block Rate.

Characters temporarily assume these weapon stats to calculate relevant statistics when using a Master Art from this Class without it being part of a Fusion Art. If a Master Art is used in a Fusion Art, the character's current Class will be used instead for calculations.

Notes

  • As the Blaze & Regenerate field produced by Pride of Place is partially a damaging field, it gains a damage boost from Yumsmith's Slicey-Dicey! skill. However, the skill also affects the Regenerate aspect of the field, and is the only support-based field to gain an enhancement from the skill, far surpassing the healing potency of a regular Regenerate field.

Trivia

  • The clothing a character wears while using the Yumsmith class is dependent on which nation they are from. Kevesi characters wear Riku's outfit and Agnian characters wear Manana's outfit.
  • Yumsmith is the only class whose Talent Art has a different name when used by its corresponding Hero.
