Rhys is an NPC in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Rhys is a Gormotti who can be found at the Goldmouth Return Port in the Argentum Trade Guild.
Story
The party first encounters Rhys when he steals Roc's Core Crystal from Rex's bag. After chasing him to Umon's Shipyard in the Gormott Province, he eventually gives up the stolen Core Crystal and explains to Rex that he and his friends are the only remaining survivors of their village which was attacked by bandits and that they wish to get revenge. After Rex and company find and defeat the bandits, they return to the Argentum Trade Guild where, after some convincing, Rhys and the other Gormotti children are allowed to work for Pittman and Garram as salvagers.
