Overview

Lifesage is the class of Nia. The Blade of the Lifesage class is the Anima Sword, which is Nia's Catalyst Scimitar from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, along with watery versions of Pyra and Mythra's Aegis Swords floating by the user.

It is unlocked by going to the Hall of the Serene in the Cloudkeep after completing the main story, or in New Game +. Completing the Ascension Quest Grasping My Future will increase this class's rank limit from 10 to 20.

Class Stats

The Lifesage class grants the following multipliers to a character's base stats (see their individual pages for their base stats), and sets their Physical and Ether Defense to the following values, depending on their current Rank. Intermediate values are linearly interpolated between the minimum and maximum values, rounding to the nearest percent.

Rank HP Attack Healing Power Dexterity Agility Physical Defense Ether Defense
1 60% 70% 120% 110% 100% 5% 20%
10 62% 72% 125% 115% 105% 10% 22%
20 65% 75% 130% 120% 110% 15% 25%

Weapon Stats

The character's Attack stat after being modified by the above class stats is further modified by adding the class's weapon stat, which depends on the character's Level, to obtain the final base Attack stat. These weapon stats also determine the character's Critical Rate and Block Rate.

Characters temporarily assume these weapon stats to calculate relevant statistics when using a Master Art from this Class without it being part of a Fusion Art. If a Master Art is used in a Fusion Art, the character's current Class will be used instead for calculations.

Trivia

  • The arts and skills of this class reference arts, Blade Specials, and Blade Skills used by Nia as a Blade with Rex in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
  • Nia's Catalyst Scimitar features a Core Crystal near the weapon's handle when wielded by her. However, when used by Ouroboros, the Core Crystal is replaced with the same Ouroboros ring featured on almost all other Blades. Additionally, this version of the sword has more faded colors than Nia's sword.
