For those who have not completed games in the Xenoblade Chronicles series, this page contains spoilers regarding the plot. Discretion is advised.

Gargoyles (Japanese: ガーゴイル, Gāgoiru) are a type of Artifice which appears in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country, however they can only be fought in Torna ~ The Golden Country. They are the main faction of Artifices under Malos's command during the Aegis War. Various Gargoyle models, along side various Siren models, are seen attacking Alrest during Chapter 10 of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 under Malos' command.

Battles

Lora and Jin fight their first Gargoyle at Feltley Village at level 8. Later, five Gargoyles are fought between levels 32 and 38 during Malos's assault on Auresco; they are found in various areas of the city.

Trivia

  • Some Gargoyles are seen during T-elos' awakening. They try to attack her, but are effortlessly destroyed; this is a throwback to T-elos' introduction in Xenosaga Episode III, where she destroys a group of Gnosis in a similar fashion, all of whom would inspire the appearance of the Gargoyles.
