Deinoses (Japanese: ディノス, Dinosu) family is an enemy family in Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected. They resemble theropod dinosaurs with small, quadrupedal creatures riding on their head, and are found in Makna Forest and Prison Island. They are Sight enemies.
Deinoses are notable for appearing under the same name on Prison Island, where most minor enemies unique to the Island. They share this with Laias and Nebulae.
They should not be confused with Deinos Sauros; although they share the word "Deinos" in English, their Japanese names are slightly different (ディノル, Dinoru vs. ディノス, Dinosu).
