A Secret Cure

A Secret Cure is a quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It can be received from Iona at the Mymoma Playhouse in the Kingdom of Uraya.

Objectives

1. "Get the mercs to gather information about capable doctors."
   • The Merc Mission Skillful Doctor must be completed, or the gathered information must be bought from the Mor Ardain informant.
2. "Visit the doctor, taking into account the gathered information."
3. "Go and meet Smaia, who went to the Ardainian Garrison in Temperantia."
4. "Go and meet Smaia, who headed to Toxbloom Spring in Temperantia."
5. "Collect Wraithwood Root in Temperantia." (3)
   • It requires Level 3 Fortitude and Level 7 Botany.
   • It requires Level 4 Fortitude and Level 6 Botany.
   • It requires Level 5 Fortitude and Level 5 Botany.
6. "Speak to Smaia at Toxbloom Spring in Temperantia."
7. "Speak with Smaia, who returned to Admar Storage Zone in Mor Ardain."
8. Multiple objectives:
   • "Collect Gloomwood Root at Spirit Crucible Elpys." (3)
   • "Collect Cloud Sea Halite at the Cliffs of Morytha." (1)
   • "Collect vegetables that make you feel younger." (3)
9. "Deliver the ingredients to Smaia at Admar Storage Zone in Mor Ardain."
10. "Collect True Dragon Incense in the Dragon's Stomach in Uraya." (2)
11. "Speak with Smaia at Admar Storage Zone in Mor Ardain."
12. "Take on the "Medicine Knowledge" Merc Mission to help Smaia make medicine."
13. "Speak with Smaia at Admar Storage Zone in Mor Ardain."
    • Smaia gives the party the Special Blade Medicine.
14. "Speak with Iona in the Entertainment District in Uraya."
    • Mythra is required.

Results

"You gathered the necessary ingredients and delivered the medicine to Cole. He seems to be improving by the day."

• Certain Field Skills are needed to collect the items for this quest. The maximum levels required are Fortitude Lv 6, Botany Lv 10, and Mineralogy Lv 7.

• The Cloud Sea Halite needed for step 8 is found in the passage near Jubilee Gate. It is most easily accessed by heading north from the Way of the Practitioner Skip Travel point. Collecting it requires Fortitude Lv 6 and Minerology Lv 7.

• The "vegetables that make you feel younger" needed for step 8 are Nopopomouli. They can be obtained by completing the merc mission Manufacture Help, which in turn can only be accepted after completing Grow, Little Vegetables!.

• The True Dragon Incense needed for step 10 is in the same location as Vampire Bride Marion, a level 65 unique monster. The entrance to the area is blocked until completion of The Titan Scholar.
