In 2013, the PlayStation 4 was released. The PlayStation 5 - the current iteration of the PlayStation console - was released in 2020.
In 2004, Sony extended the brand to portable games with the PlayStation Portable. A second portable video game console, the PlayStation Vita was released in 2011 and 2012.
