Biography
Lazaro Kotikash was a Masai, the Masai were a nomadic tribe in East Africa, most notably Kenya. Alpha Squadron suffered a great loss when they were told that Northstar had been killed in the line of duty. The team was assigned a new advisor, Karma. Tragedy once again struck after M-Day, when most of the student body of the Xavier Institute was depowered, Kidogo being one of them. When the depowered mutants boarded the bus leaving the Institute the bus was destroyed by one of William Stryker's bombs; however he was not on the bus that exploded as he was later revealed to be alive by Stan Lee.

Micromorph: Lazaro is able to shrink down to only a few inches tall by displacing his mass extra-dimensionally.
Trivia
- In the New X-Men: Academy X: Yearbook Special, Lazaro was voted “Most Ironic Power"
- Kidogo is a head taller than most of his classmates.
- Kidogo means "something small" in swahili.
- Per the tumblr of co-creators Nunzio DeFillipis and Christina Weir, the inspiration for the character came from the 1985 live-action series Misfits of Science. The show included a very tall character who could shrink down to doll size.
