Steven Williams (born January 7, 1949) is an American actor who portrayed the recurring character X in The X-Files television series, an informant to Fox Mulder who leaked classified government information. Williams also provided the voice for X in The X-Files Game.
Prior to his role as portraying recurring character Mr. X, Williams is best known for portraying Police Captain Adam Fuller from the television series 21 Jump Street.
