Jay Gilmore (played by Paul Hayes) was the boss of a storage unit facility in Missouri. One of his employees, Anson Stokes, discovered a Jinni in one of the units. Because Gilmore had been on Stokes's case about getting to work, Stokes wished that Gilmore would "just shut up." The Jinni then covered Gilmore's mouth with skin, preventing him from speaking. The incident attracted the attention of Fox Mulder. Gilmore subsequently had surgery to allow him to speak again. (TXF: "Je Souhaite")
