The Money in the Bank ladder match is a ladder match held by the professional wrestling promotion WWE. At first contested at WrestleMania, a separate Money in the Bank pay-per-view was established. The prize in the match is a briefcase containing a contract for a world championship match, which can be "cashed in" by the holder of the briefcase at any point in the year following his victory.
After the reintroduction of the brand extension in July 2016, there are two world titles in the promotion again, however, the 2017 Money in the Bank pay-per-view is a SmackDown-exclusive event where the winner of the namesake match will earn a contract for a WWE Championship (formerly WWE World Heavyweight Championship) match. On May 30, it was announced that there is going to be the first ever Women's Money in the Bank ladder match at the 2017 Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Read more...

Styles), is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE performing on the SmackDown brand, where he is the current United States Champion in his second reign. Alexis Kaufman (born August 9, 1991) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE under the ring name Alexa Bliss, where she performs on the Raw brand and is the current Raw Women's Champion in her second reign. Bliss made her main roster debut on the SmackDown brand in July 2016 and became the first woman to win the SmackDown Women's Championship twice. She was transferred to the Raw brand and became Raw Women's Champion. Bliss is the first woman to have won both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships.Read more...
