Mary

Mary is a Nicelander within the game Fix-It Felix, Jr. She is voiced by Edie McClurg. She enjoys baking for her fellow tenants, and is the one responsible for preparing Felix's pies and the anniversary cake. With the exception of Ralph, she appears to be on good terms with everyone in the game, so far as to know all their favorite flavors and incorporate them into her cake. Like her peers, she is intimidated by Ralph and sees him just as a bad guy.

Ralph

Even though she dislikes and fears Ralph, seeing him as nothing but a bad guy, she was still very polite to him when he came to the anniversary party for some cake. This is shown when he asks her about what the flavor of the mud he is in is, and she politely responds “Oh, chocolate!”. Like all of Nicelanders, she realizes Ralph’s importance in the game when he jumps games just to earn a medal to be loved and appreciated by them and treats him much better by the end of the film, accepting his role as the game’s villain, even calling him their “Favorite Bad Guy”.

Trivia

• On the arcade cabinet, Mary has a completely different look with blonde hair and a large blue sunhat; this may be because the picture on the cabinet is one of her early concept designs. It's possible that the crew forgot to change the cabinet or ran out of time, but it's just as likely to be an inside joke about video game cover art that takes major artistic liberties with how characters are depicted within the games.
