Tossaways are trinkets that all smart goblins carry with them and throw behind them as protection from the invisible creature known as the Uninvited Guest, which always stops to count coins dropped on the ground. Tossaways look like shiny, painted-gold discs stamped with the grinning face of the first trade prince—a visual copy of the ancient goblin currency known as galleons.
They were invented by Slixi Boompowder, whose husband Klaxz was the Uninvited's first known victim.[1]
