Tharil'zun is an orc found in Stonewatch in the Redridge Mountains. Tharil'zun is the leader of the Blackrock Clan Outrunners and Gath'Ilzogg's chief lieutenant. He is responsible for some of the attacks on Lakeshire. Recently, Marshal Marris of Lakeshire has enlisted the help of Alliance adventurers to hunt down and kill this dangerous orc.^[1] In Cataclysm, he becomes a death knight. Colonel Troteman sends Bravo Company to kill him and Gath'Ilzogg.^[2]

Abilities

•  Bloodworm — Creates a Bloodworm to attack nearby targets. Lasts 8 sec.
•  Death and Decay — Shadow damage inflicted every 1 sec to all targets in the affected area for 10 sec.
•  Death Grip — Harness the unholy energy that surrounds and binds all matter, drawing the target toward the caster and forcing the enemy to attack the caster for until canceled.

•  Battle Fury — Increases the attack speed of nearby allies by 25% for 4 min.
•  Frenzy — Increases the Physical damage dealt by the caster for 15 sec.
•  Net — Immobilizes an enemy for 10 sec.

Trivia

• In side courtyard along southern wall of Stonewatch Keep.
• He was killed by a group of heroes which included a priest, and his friends Tielyn, and Anat, according to the short story Priestly Reckoning. The story was hinted to be non-canon.^[3]
