Stone fiends,[1] referred to as Stoneborn Messengers,[2] are small stoneborn[3] gargoyles found in Revendreth made in the same manner as other stoneborn.
They primarily serve as messengers for venthyr,[4][5] with Temel having various and more important roles throughout Revendreth. Others are part of the Stone Legion or Darkwing.[6] They keep track of famous venthyr they have encountered.[7]
The stone fiends also serve as flight masters for all of Revendreth, styled "Couriers".
