Shadow Hold

Shadow Hold, located in western Felwood, is a former night elf barrow den which now serves as the Shadow Council's stronghold on Azeroth.^[1] It is a gigantic subterranean labyrinth roamed by Jaedenar warlocks and their demonic pets. The satyr Prince Xavalis and dreadlord Lord Banehollow also reside here.

The night elf Arko'narin was formerly held captive inside as well as her close friend, a human and paladin of the Silver Hand named Trey Lightforge, who later turned out to have been tortured to death. Arko'narin escaped and returned to Darnassus, eventually becoming a warden.
