Merchant ships (or trading vessels) are ships used to transport general goods around the world. One of them was raided by a group of murlocs, who managed to plunder the Blind Princess.[1]

- Water Snakes were brought to Orgrimmar on merchant ships.
- There is a shipwreck of a merchant ship out of Kul Tiras carrying wine near Valiance Keep in Borean Tundra.[2]
- Thyn'tel Bladeweaver suspected that Velinde Starsong traveled from Ratchet to Booty Bay on a trading vessel.[3] Wharfmaster Dizzywig confirmed that Velinde traveled on the Black Osprey,[4] but he did not say whether it was a trading ship.
