Kalahad was claimed to be the 
[Scarab Lord], the hero that rang the Scarab Gong to open the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj and begin the Second War of the Shifting Sands.[1]
Trivia
- In the short story The War of the Shifting Sands, Shiromar is the Scarab Lord.
- Kalahad as a lore character is a reference to the dwarf warrior named Kalahad who was the leader of the guild <Fury> on the realm Medivh US, as he was the world-first to open the Gates.[2]
