Hoodoo

Not to be confused with Voodoo.

Hoodoo is a form of magic used by trolls. Zanza the Restless, a loa of the Zandalar tribe, was particularly skilled in enchanting items via hoodoo, with the right reagents.^[1]

Known hoodoo references

• Fu'jin, a troll stationed in Wintergrasp has the title of Hoodoo Master.
• There are Hoodoo Hexers, Zandalari troll shaman in the Temple of Sethraliss.
•  [Jinxed Hoodoo Skin] and  [Jinxed Hoodoo Kilt] from Shadowpriest Sezz'ziz in Zul'Farrak.
•  [Arlokk's Hoodoo Stick] that dropped from High Priestess Arlokk from the old Zul'Gurub raid.
•  [Hoodoo Hunting Bow] that dropped from Wushoolay from the old Zul'Gurub raid.

Notes

• In real life, Voodoo and Hoodoo are two very different things. Real life Voodoo is a complex and well-developed religion while real life Hoodoo is closer to a folk religion. Hoodoo "Root Priests" typically are more focused on the magical aspects and rarely invoke the African loa, usually replacing them with catholic saints or other deities.
