Ashilvara is an epic, 9-verse vrykul poem recounting the story of how Ashildir, the ancient queen of the Valkyra, founded the shieldmaidens and brought them to Skold-Ashil. The priestesses of Eyir in Skold-Ashil carry verses of the poem with them.[1]
