Ambrose is a human warrior and a member of the Night Watch militia who helped Karlain and Revil Kost at Manor Mistmantle in Duskwood against feral worgen. He then accompanied them to Roland's Doom, meeting with Jitters, where they were attacked by Gorfang and Shagra. Ambrose killed them very quickly and then they entered the mine where they found Gervase and his worgen who were transforming Karlain's son, Mardigan, into a worgen. Karlain attacked the worgen to rescue his son and Revil and Ambrose joined in the fray to support him. However, Ambrose died during the battle and they were too late in preventing Mardigan from being bitten by Gervase. After their foes were defeated, Karlain and Revil left the mine to bury the valiant and pious man. As they were digging a grave, a rabid Mardigan showed up in worgen form over the body of Ambrose but Karlain was able to subdue the worgen with his magic. After identifying Mardigan, Revil argued with Karlain to put Mardigan out of his misery and then went on to finish burying Ambrose's corpse into the grave.[1]

- He was called a huntsman and wielded a bow but also a sword.
- Revil described him truly fighting as one of the Light's chosen warriors.
