Vreemde was a Daerlanian officer serving in the Nilfgaardian Army.
Biography
Invasion of Lyria
In 1267, during the first phase of the Second Northern War, Vreemde led Nilfgaardian forces in the siege of Dravograd but was defeated by Queen Meve's army.[1]
Operation Centaur
In August, Vreemde served under Elan Trahe in the 7th Daerlanian Cavalry Brigade. During the Operation Centaur, he was appointed commander of the Vreemde Battle Group, one of three main divisions of the Brigade. His group was to reach and capture the Vidort-Carcano-Armeria territory and secure the crossing over the Ina, while bringing terror to the civilians.[2]

- In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt there is a gwent card named after him.
Trivia
- "Vreemde" means either "weird" or "foreign" - (strange/stranger) in Dutch depending on the context, it would be best described as a word to describe an unfamiliar situation, person, or location, etc.
