The Underwater City is a vodyanoy city at the bottom of Lake Vizima, in its middle. Most of its inhabitants worship the Lady of the Lake.
History
A popular legend says the City used to be inhabited by humans – the ancestors of the people of Murky Waters – but was submerged by the gods angered by the debauchery of its citizens. However, considering the City's distinct architecture this is surely not true.
The vodyanoy here produce tools and baubles which include the famed stones of Ys. They have a number of fierce warriors for defense. These warriors seldom attack land, chiefly to drive away treasure hunters.[1]

- In The Witcher, a mirage of this city is witnessed above the lake's surface in the opening of Chapter IV thanks to the unusually clear waters, the light of the moon and a little optical magic.
