Andy Guerdat is an American television writer, producer and occasional lyricist. Guerdat is best known for his work on Fancy Nancy (2018), Sister Sister (1995-1998) and Saved by the Bell: The College Years (1993). Guerdat is credited as co-writer, along with Steve Sullivan, of five episodes of season 1 of the TV series.
Bio
Guerdat began his career in television by writing for the teleplay for a 1978 episode of The Jeffersons before building a steady career in the industry. Guerdat's notable credits include writing and producing episodes of the Hit 90s sitcom Sister Sister, writing 2 episodes of Boy Meets World (1997) and writing the lyrics for multiple songs on the animated series Sheriff Callie's Wild West (2015-2017). Guerdat's work on the 2018 series on the TV Shorts Fancy Nancy resulted in nominations for two Daytime Emmy awards and an Annie Award for achievements in children's programming.[2]
Aside from his work on W.I.T.C.H., Guerdat has frequently collaborated with fellow writer Steve Sullivan starting with the Golden Girls spinoff, Empty Nest (1994-1995) and most recently the popular childrens series Paw Patrol (2016-2020).[3]
