The Trogs are a magical species introduced in Season 2.
Overview
The Trogs are the inhabitants of Downland, located in the underground regions of the planet Magix.
Trog society is monarchical and ruled by a royal family, and Trogs live in a large underground city filled with stone buildings. Trog technology is rudimentary and Trog guards use spears and wooden maces as their main weapons, while Princess Amentia uses a trident as her main combat weapon.
Appearance
Trogs are humanoid beings with beige skin and large bulbous eyes. Trogs can grow hair on their heads and facial hair just like humans, but they do not have eyebrow hair and instead have prominent eyebrow ridges. Trogs have only three fingers on their hands, consisting of a thumb, an index finger, and a third large finger where humans' middle, ring and pinky fingers are located.
Trogs wear simple wrapped clothing, and jewelry such as arm and leg bracelets, and necklaces. Noble and royal Trogs' hairdresses and hairstyles are more elaborate.
Warrior Trogs are taller than other Trogs and have large muscled bodies.
Guard Trogs are paler than other Trogs and have four arms.

- The name "Trog" is a shortening of the word "troglodyte," which means "cave-dwelling people" and is used to refer to any living creature that lives under the ground, and is also used as another name for cavemen.
- Trog culture appears to have been inspired by Ancient Egyptian and Mesoamerican cultures.
