The Ligers are a species of Fairy Animal introduced in Season 7.

Overview

Ligers appear to be very protective of their owner and their belongings. They have the physical abilities of actual real life ligers.

Appearance

Ligers are large cats with sharp fangs and golden eyes, they have a lot of spiky hair on the top of their heads. The two Ligers seen belonging to Mavilla are respectively a cream-colored one with stripes and part of the mane of burgundy color and a burgundy-colored one with stripes, chest and hair on the top of the head of cream color.

Trivia

• The name "Liger" is a blend of "lion" and "tiger".
• Ligers are an actual animal species. These animals are the offspring of a male lion and a female tiger and are the hybrids of those two species. They also tend to be larger than both of their parent species. The offspring of a male Tiger and a female Lion are called "Tigons" which tend to be way smaller than Ligers.^[1]
