- "I was just poking around here, searching in the old fireplaces for iron. He came out of the woods and asked what I was doing, and I told him, and he looked very serious and said we'd better get back to Valor. I didn't realize I was in trouble until we got there and he had two of his guards arrest me."

Biography
Legends
Dragonslayer
While Ivy was talking to Miss Laurel about Pine's banishment, Ivy recalled that Pine was one of the nicer Wingwatchers, as he brought peaches to the kids at Ivy's school. Laurel explained to Ivy that Pine was banished for heading to the old village; Ivy argued that her father heads to the old village all the time, adding that she thought Heath made the rule after Pine had gone there. After being initiated into the Truth Seekers, Ivy, Daffodil and Violet vow to find out the truth about Pine's banishment.
During the Wingwatcher welcome ceremony, Foxglove mentioned Pine, saying that most people did not talk about him anymore. Violet pressed on about Pine and the other banished Wingwatchers, to which Foxglove said it was not safe to talk about them too much.
When Ivy, Daffodil, Violet, and Foxglove head to the old village, the latter revealed that Pine and Azalea are alive. He and Azalea helped them find Heath's treasure, but the only thing they could find was the dreamvisitor. Pine was later mentioned to have helped Ivy, Daffodil, Leaf, and Stone while the four were on the run from Valor, hiding in the old village.
