Templates
These templates are recommended for use on here.
Infoboxes
Infoboxes are easy templates to put facts in to make it easier for the reader. If you feel a template needs more boxes contact me on my Message Wall.
- Template:Accessory - Physical electronic or accessory, such as a Wii Remote or Wii Wheel.
- Template:Channel - Channel or app, such as the Forecast Channel or the Mario Kart Channel.
- Template:Game - Video game (Wii games, WiiWare game, Virtual Console game)
- Template:Company - Companies, game developers and publishers, such as Nintendo or Sega.
- Template:Person - Real people, such as Shigeru Miyamoto
Messages
Use these message templates for giving out notices
- Template:Stub - Notice that a page is small.
- Template:Under Construction - Notice that a page isn't finished.
- Template:Wikipedia - Notice that a page has been ported from Wikipedia.
- Template:Revise - Notice for when a section needs to be rewritten.
- Template:Cleanup - Notice for when a page needs to be "cleaned".
Content
When managing the content on pages, make sure all words are spelled right and the information is on topic.
Topics
Wii games, accessories, channels, and other Wii-branded topics is allowed. Short topics might be merged to be in one page, such as the Hidden Channels page.
Off-topic
Content that isn't directly related to the Wii will get removed. For example, The Wii is backwards compatible with the GameCube. This does not mean that GameCube games go on here, they can use the GameCube Wiki or a wiki dedicated to that game or software. Virtual Console titles aren't allowed, they can instead be included on the list of Virtual Console games. Item pages from a game's universe aren't allowed, for example making a page called "1-Up" is unrelated to the Wii. Homebrew apps and games are left to their own individuals wikis, such as WiiBrew.
