Wii Chess

Wii Chess (Tsuushin Taikyoku: World Chess in Japan) is a game in the Wii series based on the game of chess. It has been released in Europe via retail at a budget price and Japan via WiiWare. The game is powered by the Loop Express chess engine.

Gameplay

The player uses the Wii Remote to move their chess pieces on the board. The game is designed so any ability can play. There is a mode which teaches people who are new to the game how to play chess. The game also lets you replay your games. An online mode is also present, letting you play against people online with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, with players of the game also being able to play against World Chess players.
