
Ray Cassar is an Australian musician who performed on Wiggle Town!, Dance Dance!, and Choo Choo Trains, Propeller Planes & Toot Toot Chugga Chugga Big Red Car!
Primarily known worldwide as a skilled and versatile trumpeter, as well as an accomplished pianist, Cassar has performed live with various musical artists such as Emma Pask, James Morrison, Harry Connick Jr, The Eagles, Don Henley, Human Nature, and former Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor. He has also performed in the house band for the television series The Voice Australia from 2017 to 2019 and held the position of principal trumpet in various music ensembles such as the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (where he was also featured as jazz soloist) and with the Sydney Lyric Orchestra for their annual All You Need Is Love Beatles tribute concerts, being prominently featured on the piccolo trumpet solo from "Penny Lane".
Cassar is also a high-demand studio musician, and has played on the soundtracks for various television shows such as Beat Bugs, Motown Magic, and Love Child and on albums from David Campbell, Mahalia Barnes, Mental as Anything, and Lachy Doley.
