The Teddy Boys are a white gang that scalp Chinese men as part of their initiation.
History
Spotted at the Barbary Coast
During his fight, Ah Sahm sees the gang when they start taunting him after he is knocked down. He takes note of the severed queues they wear on their jackets. Later, when he is recuperating from the fight at Ah Toy's, Ah Sahm asks about them, and Ah Toy explains who they are and that the queues are part of an initiation ritual, where to join a person has to scalp a Chinese person. Ah Sahm advocates for going after them, but Ah Toy cautions that they've been too active lately. Ah Sahm counters that if they're left alone, they'll kill more Chinese, but Ah Toy retorts that if they keep leaving a trail of White bodies in their wake, they'll become a threat to Chinatown and themselves. The issue is tabled when the two start arguing about Ah Sahm's motivations.
The Gang's Demise
At night, the gang gathers in an empty warehouse, where the leader, Pete, cuts the queue off a Chinese captive, before proceeding to place the captive on a mock trial about how the Chinese come to their country, take their jobs, bring crime and diseases with them, and have "those sneaky fucking eyes". He then proclaims that as a loyal American, he sentences the captive to death by hanging. As he raises the captive up, the rope is suddenly cut, surprising all of them. Pete turns around to see Lai standing in front of him, and remarks that it's a girl before his throat is cut. Ah Sahm and Ah Toy soon appear and begin killing the rest of the Teddy Boys. Randall tries to draw his gun but his arm is cut off by Ah Toy. Randall tries to flee, but Lai catches up to him and kills him.
