Pyoro is a recurring character in the WarioWare series. For the microgame, see Pyoro (microgame). For other uses, see Pyoro (Disambiguation).
Description
Pyoro is a game franchise in the WarioWare universe. Following news of it's revitalization of the gaming market, Wario is then inspired to create his own game as a get-rich-quick scheme.
In-universe, Pyoro is a bird-like creature who has made an appearance in the WarioWare games. He owns a Microgame in practically every WarioWare game. His microgames take advantage of the gimmicks added to each game (e.g. the microgame in WarioWare: Touched takes advantage of the touchscreen).
History
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!
Pyoro debuted in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. While Wario is watching the television, a news reporter announces that game sales have gone up because of the new game, Pyoro. Pyoro also appears in an unlockabable microgame in which Pyoro must eat as many vegetables as possible.
WarioWare: Get It Together!
In WarioWare: Get It Together!, after saving the crew from inside the game, a mysterious presence challenges the crew to one final showdown. A battle involving every member of WarioWare, Inc. ensues. Admitting defeat, the presence reveals itself as Pyoro; who just wanted to have some fun and asks everyone if they had a good time. In response, the crew lets Pyoro tag along on further adventures.
Powers and Abilities
Pyoro has the ability to stretch his tongue out to great distances, eating practically anything. In WarioWare Get It Together, he can use the tongue to grab onto rings. This ability has some similarites to Yoshi's ability. Pyoro also has the ability fly, another similarity to Yoshi, though the latter is technically fluttering.
Trivia
- Pyoro's design is likely based on Kyorochan's design.
