NASAMS (National/Norwegian Advanced Surface to Air Missile System) is a prototype Norwegian Anti-Aircraft Missile carrier that appears in the Norse Dragons DLC for Wargame: Red Dragon.
Development
The NASAMS is a joint US-Norwegian design. Devlopment started when Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace teamed up with Raytheon for the Royal Norwegian Air Force, the missile was fully operational by 1998 with initial operational capability by 1994/1995.
The missiles are called SLAMRAAM (Surface Launched AMRAAM), it is a ground based version of the US AIM-120 AMRAAM missile.
