Voca are the physical manifestations of Voidtongue cries, moans, and whispers. They are Resources used for increasing standing and Syndicate rank with the Cavia, as well as crafting materials for  Qorvex,  Ekhein,  Grimoire ,  Mandonel and the Helminth Coalescent Segment.

Acquisition

• All Albrecht's Laboratories missions (except Mirror Defense) can spawn a total of 8  Shrill Voca,  Bellow Voca, and  Echo Voca (10 in Steel Path Incursions) scattered across the mission in the form of Syndicate Medallions.
  • One Voca is guaranteed to be an Echo.
  • Two Vocas are guaranteed to be a Bellow.
  • The remaining five Vocas have a 75% chance to spawn as Shrills, and a 25% chance to spawn as Bellows.
• Sanctum Anatomica Bounties from Fibonacci may award various Voca depending on the difficulty.
  • Tier 1 and 2 Bounties have a chance to award a  Shrill Voca.
  • Tier 3 and 4 Bounties has a chance to award a  Bellow Voca.
  • Tier 5 Bounty has a chance to award an  Echo Voca.
• Gruzzlings in non-Disruption Albrecht's Laboratories missions may drop an Echo Voca.
• Loid offers a selection of Voca for various Albrecht's Laboratories Resources. This cycles every 8 hours.

Gathering Tips

• During Sanctum Anatomica Bounties, searching for Voca should not take priority until after the bounty is completed, as ignoring the objective will likely cause mission failure and thus lose out on all collected Voca.
• Voca are often found in Laboratory secret rooms hidden behind yellow locked doors or grates. Most secret rooms are accessible through a hidden vent behind a breakable grate. Several Voca spawn points are also high up near the ceiling.
• As Voca ( Shrill Voca,  Bellow Voca and  Echo Voca) are located as Syndicate-like medallions all around the Albrecht's Laboratories tileset, having a Warframe and/or companion with large loot detection capability ( Loot Detector,  Thief's Wit,  Animal Instinct), will greatly help in recovering these items. The ability to quickly destroy loot crates, such as with certain Warframe abilities, can greatly reduce the number of non-Voca markers visible on loot radar.
• Using the Orokin Eye Air Support and infusing  Golden Instinct is one of the most efficient ways to quickly locate Voca. Considering that the rooms can be very large, the distance between the player and Voca spawns can exceed its 150 meter radius, making several uses necessary. For this reason it is recommended to pair Orokin Eye with Golden Instinct to keep looking for Voca while the Air Support Charge is on a cooldown.
• All Voca emit a low throat singing sound, making them easier to locate. Turn down the in-game music volume to make sure you don't mistake the throat singing that is a part of the soundtrack for the sound Voca make.

• In Latin, voca is one form of vocō, a verb means 'to call/summon/beckon', which in turn stemmed from the term vox (voice/speech). Still used today in the word 'vocabulary' or 'vocal'.
  • Shrill, Bellow, and Echo, types of Voca, are all different kinds of sound.
