WACK Juku (WACK塾; WACK Cram School) is a private educational program founded by Watanabe Junnosuke and themed around his company, WACK. The purpose of the program is to nurture the next generation of music producers, similar to SCRAMBLES MUSIC COLLAGE, which was founded by his frequent collaborator and business partner, Matsukuma Kenta. Watanabe will invest up to 10 million yen to launch the program.
Starting in July, students will attend free lectures every other Tuesday from 19:00 to 21:00 at the WACK offices, for six months. Students can be expected to learn the knowledge that Watanabe had cultivated when building WACK as a company. As part of their education, the students will eventually launch a new idol group.
Applications opened upon its announcement on April 4th, and was initially open to young people aged 16 to 22 (later raised to 25) who wished to make a name for themselves in the music industry. Applications will close on April 30th, and 6 people will be chosen for the program.
