Outposts are an enemy blockades that can be encountered on the cycle (a path from one Depot to another).
Since the 13333 version, Outposts varies in sizes, complexity and enemy count depending on your research level and how much cycles you've been through. You can encounter road block at this location, that prevents the train from going further. There's two ways to breakthrough these blockades:
- Turn off the energy source located in one of the buildings by interacting with it or simply shoot it
- Breakthrough by enabling afterburner mode on the engine if you have a Ram installed on your train
