Crafting is the process of taking materials and creating something new, by using various workstations. Most crafting in the game takes a period of time to complete, ranging from 5 to 30 seconds per item.
Crafting Book
The Crafting Book is the main tool used to build various buildings and decor. When equipped, it will present the player with the crafting log, where they can choose any of their known buildings, and place them on their train.
If the player doesn't currently have enough resources for a build, a blue ghost will get placed instead, and the building will remain unusable until it's been supplied with all requested materials. If the player wishes to move a building, or accidentally placed on in the wrong spot, they can use the Hammer to remove it.
The Crafting Book cannot be dropped or lost, as it is available to the player at all times.
