Rikka (律可) is a male Japanese Virtual YouTuber. He is a member of hololive production's branch HOLOSTARS as part of its first generation along with Hanasaki Miyabi, Kagami Kira, Kanade Izuru, Arurandeisu and Yakushiji Suzaku.

Personality
Rikka says that he is equipped with high-performance AI, but despite that, he has 2GB of memory, making him prone to forgetfulness, and even has been described as an airhead by fans and fellow HOLOSTARS members. Despite Rikka's young age, he is a mature individual, reassuring fans[8] on the day Kira was announced to graduate and is considered a reliable figure by HOLOSTARS members.[9] He doesn't think he's good with words and prefers to express himself with his music instead.[10]

He has short, flowy light beige hair that fades into pink at the end. His eyes are a light green.
History
Background
Rikka's presence was first teased along with the additions of Arurandeisu and Yakushiji Suzaku through a press release on 2 September 2019.[11] He was later officially announced as a sixth member of HOLOSTARS' first generation on 17 October.[12] His Twitter account was created in 18 September; his YouTube channel was created on the same day, and his debut stream was performed on 20 October.
2019
On 21 October, Rikka released his first cover song, Dakara Boku wa Ongaku o Yameta (That's Why I Gave Up on Music) by Yorushika.[13]
2020
On 15 March, he revealed his White Day costume.[14]
On 5 May, he reached 20,000 subscribers.[15]
On 3 June, he reached 30,000 subscribers.[16]
On 18 June, it was announced on Rikka's stream that he will get his 3D model.[17] His 3D stream was performed on 21 June.[18] During the 3D stream, he performed his first original song, "Re:Hello world" Its music video was premiered on 28 June. The song then became available on iTunes on 5 September and became available on other various streaming services on 8 September.[19]
On 7 July, he reached 40,000 subscribers.[20]
On 9 July, he hosted the first episode of his new series called "RiTunes Labo", his first guest being his fellow VTuber Amenosei.[21]
On 4 August, he revealed his summer costume.[22]
On 13 August, he reached 50,000 subscribers.[23]
On 3 September, he opened his membership feature.[24]

On 25 December, it was announced that all the HOLOSTARS members would receive new costumes on 3 January, 2021, commemorating New Year's.[28] On the same day, he reached 90,000 subscribers.[29]
2021
On 3 January, he revealed his new year's costume,[30] which was modelled by vivi.[31]
On 17 January, Rikka reached 100,000 subscribers during an endurance singing stream, being the second HOLOSTARS to reach this milestone.[32]
On 25 March, in his concert "Over the silver dawn" commemorating his milestone of 100,000 subscribers, he sang two new original songs, a duet with Mori Calliope called "spiral tones" and a solo called "Archive". Later in his fifteenth edition of RiTunes Labo featuring Calli, they announced that a MV for "spiral tones" was in the making.[33]
On 10 May, the MV for "spiral tones" was released, and he and Calli announced an open-for-everyone spiral tones fan works event, for people to send remixes, vocal covers, or dances to the hashtag #morikka_st, with 30 winners to receive an autographed postcard from both of them.[34]
On 22 May, the MV for "Archive", Rikka's second original solo was released, a song dedicated to all of the graduated HOLOSTARS.[35]
On 13 July, hololive's Japanese Twitter account announced that every HOLOSTARS member would get 2.0 version of their 2D model.[36]
On 23 August, he announced the 2.0 update to his Live2D model with singing relay along with Kanade Izuru]] and Astel Leda who also got their model updated.[37]
On 6 September, Rikka announced on his Twitter account that he would receive his fifth 2D costume.[38]
On 10 September, Rikka debuted his fifth 2D costume.[39]
2022
On 28 January, Rikka reached 200,000 subscribers during an endurance singing stream, being the second of the HOLOSTARS to reach this milestone.[40]
On 30 August, HOLOSTARS revealed an original voice drama titled, "Highschool Holography" to include all of the nine HOLOSTARS members along with featuring all four UPROAR!! members as guests. The drama cd will be released into two parts with the first part to release on November 5, 2022 and the second part to be announced at a later date.[41]
On 21 September, it was announced that in celebration of the upcoming HOLOSTARS 2nd ACT 3D live concert, 3 new original unit songs would be released.[42]
On 27 November, he revealed his autumn/winter costume.[43]
2023
On 24 January, Polaporiposupo, Bandai Namco's new mixed voiced media project had begun revealing voice actors with Rikka and Kageyama Shien being a part of the lineup for the roles of the characters. Rikka will be voicing the character SO from the group WAKAZO and Shien will be voicing the character Itsuki from the group chirpxchirp.[44]
2024
On 14 March, Rikka debuted his seventh costume.[45]

RiTunes Labo
"RiTunes Labo" is a series where he invites guests, such as fellow VTubers and voice actors, to sing with him online, accompanied with Rikka's guitar playing. He uses a software called SYNCROOM enabling him and the guest to be in sync with each other with little delay when singing together. The playlist of the series can be found here.

- On 2 August, Rikka entered Shibuya Hal's Apex Legends VTuber Most Cooperatitive Tournament along with Hanasaki Miyabi and Kageyama Shien under their group name "Star☆Sweeper". They placed 20th in overall ranking.[46]
- On 9 October, Rikka was a part of Waku Waku! VTuber Hiroba Online Vol. 2 (わくわく!VTuberひろば おんらいん Vol.2) along with Nanase Taku, Akiyama Rentarou from Himashokudo and Hanagasa Ilya.[47] Fellow HOLOSTARS members Kageyama Shien and Aragami Oga, as well as Syukusei Batumaru and Boyacky from Yatterman Channel were also part of the event.
- On 15 October, it was announced that Rikka would be part of the event V Men Sai! 2020 (Vメン祭!2020), held on 15 November, 2020, along with MonsterZ MATE, Tenkai Tukasa, Nanase Taku, Syukusei Batumaru and Himashokudo.[48]
- On 26 October, it was announced that HOLOSTARS goods would be sold at Animate Girls Festival Aozora Marche, held on November 7-8, 2020,[49] and on 28 October, 2020, it was announced that HOLOSTARS would be participating in the event as guests.[50] Rikka is part of the "Virtual Clerk" (バーチャル店員), the "Virtual Kabedon" (バーチャル壁ドン) and "Chatting Fes" (おしゃべりフェス) exhibitions in the event.[51]

- On 23 January, it was announced he will appear in TUBEOUT vol.5 on 27 February, 2021 along with fellow hololive Production member AZKi.[52]
- On 28 January, it was announced that "Net Talking Festival", an HOLOSTARS exclusive event, will be held on 14 February where fans can have a one-on-one chat with any of the HOLOSTARS members for 3 minutes, talking about their daily feelings of gratitude to an important person.[53]
- From 25 until 27 June, all HOLOSTARS members participated in their 2nd anniversary event "Our Rally 2021", the event featured 3 HOLOSTARS in each day of the event, Rikka participated in the 1st day.[54] On the final day of the event, an original song Just Follow Stars was released on the official HOLOSTARS channel featuring all members singing.
- On 3 July, Rikka participated in the Apex Legends tournament Reignite Cup as team "Utanaide Kudasai" along with Naruse Naru and Arurandeisu.[55] The team placed 19th in overall ranking.
- On 16 July, Rikka participated in YouTube Music Weekend along with hololive Production members Roboco-san, AZKi, Mori Calliope and Tokino Sora.[56]
- On 24 July, Rikka participated in the Apex Legends tournament Cypher Cup Festival as team "Otogirisou" along with Nishizono Chigusa and Otogi (Team UNITE). The team placed 5th in overall ranking and advanced to the main tournament's Grand Final.

- On 31 July, hololive's Japanese Twitter account announced that Rikka along with Tokino Sora would participate in "TUBEOUT!FES -2021 SUMMER-".[57]
- On 22 August, Rikka participated in Apex Legends VTuber Most Cooperatitive Tournament Season 3 as team "ReTIcle" along with fellow HOLOSTARS members Kanade Izuru and Kishido Temma. The team placed 17th in overall ranking.[58]
- On 28 August, Penguin Parade announced a collaboration with HOLOSTARS.[59]
- On 15 October, HOLOSTARS' Twitter account announced that HOLOSTARS would participate in "Animate Girls Festival 2021."[60]
- On 1 November, it was announced there will be a collaboration between King of Prism and HOLOSTARS for a limited time.[61]
- On 9 December, Capcom announced a collaboration with HOLOSTARS featuring members Kanade Izuru and Rikka for a limited time with their online crane game.[62]

2022
- On 1 February, it was announced there would be a collaboration between HOLOSTARS and CONVERSE TOKYO starting February 4th until February 13th.[63]
- On 17 March, it was announced there would be a collaboration between HOLOSTARS and FamilyMart.[64]
- On 4 April, it was announced HOLOSTARS and UPROAR!! will be having a meet and talk event on May 22, 2022 held in Ikebukuro harevutai with a time limit of 2 minutes per person and attendance will be determined by lottery.[65]
- On 24 April, HOLOSTARS announced an event HOLOSTARS 3RISE SUPER FAN MEETING ~FLAGSHIP~ in celebration of it's 3rd anniversary to be held on June 26, 2022 in the venue of Ikebukuro harevutai.[66]
- On 25 April, it was announced there would be collaboration between HOLOSTARS and Don Quijote starting on May 3, 2022.[67]
- On 26 May, Rikka participated in the 2nd Apex Legends customs Good Game Company X BOSS CUP as team "Eh? You're going to the custom with that character pick?" (え?そのピックでスクリムでんの?) with Bancho and Mirage Bomber. They placed first with a total of 34 points.[68]
- On 26 June, multiple announcements were made; collaboration with Bandai Gashapon starting on June 27, 2022 to July 24, 2022[69], HOLOSTARS' 3rd original song "Find It" was revealed and released on midnight of June 27, 2022[70], HOLOSTARS' 1st album "Follow Us" goes on sale on August 31, 2022.[71] along with the blu-ray of their first 3D live concert "HOLOSTARS 1st ACT: JOURNEY to FIND STARS"[72] and a second 3D live concert "HOLOSTARS 2nd Act: GREAT VOYAGE to UNIVERSE" to be held on October 20, 2022[73]
- On 1 July, HOLOSTARS announced they will be taking part in "Animate Girls Festival 2022".[74]
- On 27 July, it was announced that HOLOSTARS and UPROAR!! will be participating as ambassadors in support of the spicy foods event, Gekikara Yabai, to be held in Akihabara starting on August 3rd, 2022. Event merch will also be available but only locally.[75]
- On 1 September, DAM, one of Japan's notable karaoke system, announced a collaboration with HOLOSTARS for a limited time through the entire month of September with a possibility to win prizes.[76] On the same day, a video was uploaded to their official Youtube channel featuring Hanasaki Miyabi, Arurandeisu and Aragami Oga making an announcement regarding the collaboration.[77]
- On 3 September, it was announced that HOLOSTARS will be a guest of NTV, Nippon Television Network, on their program for the 15th episode of "PROJECT V" that focuses on VTubers featuring HOLOSTARS members; Kanade Izuru, Rikka, Yukoku Roberu, Kageyama Shien and Aragami Oga which will be broadcasted on September 29 at 24:59 JST.[78]
- On 8 September, the official Capcom twitter account announced that there would be some guests who will be streaming and testing out Street Fighter 6 closed beta. Rikka and Aragami Oga were part of the line up distributors.[79]
- On 3 October, it was announced that HOLOSTARS members will appear on the Nihon Television Vtuber NEWS program for 10 weeks to report the latest vtuber news. The broadcast will be on the Nihon Television channel program "news every" at 16:00JST on Mondays.[80]
- On 20 October, after the performance of HOLOSTARS 2nd Act: GREAT VOYAGE to UNIVERSE, multiple announcements where made. A blu-ray of HOLOSTARS 2nd Act will be released on Feburary 22, 2023 and depending on which store the blu-ray is ordered from, exclusive bonus items will differ.[81] HOLOSTARS will have an apparel collaboration with KANGOL REWARD and the first designs will be for UPROAR!! meanwhile other designs will be revealed at a later date.[82] For a limited time, HOLOSTARS 2nd ACT: GREAT VOYAGE to UNIVERSE will be distributed through MiruHaco by JOYSOUND starting on November 19th with more information to be announced on November 4th.[83] All four members of UPROAR!! will be getting their 3D models with more details to be announced later.[84] Arurandeisu will be having a new appearance with more details coming soon.[85] Lastly, a new project has been announced with more details on a later another date.[86]
- On 22 November, seiyuu Toshinari Fukamachi's V Variety show announced that both Izuru and Rikka would be guests on December 13 starting at 20:00JST on the Nico Channel with more details to be announced. Meanwhile, it is a paid content there will also be a free portion.[87]
- On 28 November, hololive Production announced that HOLOSTARS will have a Christmas 2022 campaign which will include the following events to take place; a web advent calendar, a collaboration with Cake.jp which is an online cake delivery service to feature 13 original cakes for HOLOSTARS and UPROAR!! members, Christmas voice packs and more.[88]
2024
- On 24 January, RAKU SPA announced a collaboration with HOLOSTARS to start on February 8, 2024.[89]
- On 25 May, Yamaha Game Streaming announced, as one of the sponsors and as fans of Holostars, in celebration of the upcoming Holostars 5th anniversary 3D live, they would be giving away 2 YDM707 white dynamic microphones valued at 25,300 yen for those who participate.[90]
- On 8 June, the group performed their HOLOSTARS 5th Anniversary Live -Movin' On!-. It was also the first HOLOSTARS 3D live performance to include the group UPROAR!!.[91]
2025
- On 15 February, Rikka participated in the DTTO.CUP Apex tournament as part of Rikka TEAM along with Konkon Aria and Choya Hanabi.[92]

- His favourite food is almond chocolate. On the other hand, he avoids eating chili and wasabi. Rather than dislike, he'll break if he eats them. In general, he's not very good with spicy food.[95]
- In Kageyama Shien's random talk livestream, Rikka imitated Mr. Children's Sakurai-san's voice and how it gradually changes to Shimura Ken-san's voice. Rikka had claimed to have done this three times and no one had ever backed him up, he mentioned that ever since he became a HOLOSTARS member and started streaming, it was the first time one of his jokes had not gotten through in which he found as inconceivable.[96]
- During a talk stream on Kanade Izuru's channel, it was known that Rikka had the highest tolerance for alcohol among all HOLOSTARS members, being capable of downing a bottle of sake on his own.[97]

- Rikka talked to his viewers regarding the popping up of topics of a 4th generation. To be clear, he is not against a 4th generation but noted that the current balance of the HOLOSTARS members is nice and that there's no reason to rush things yet. In his own opinion, if there was to be new members, it could be a different group name instead of HOLOSTARS. Even though everyone may have a different opinion, he stated that's how he felt about it since he feels that there's still more growth and opportunities for the current HOLOSTARS to do.[98]
- In Rikka's 2nd anniversary stream, he made a statement towards the end asking fans to continue to support them. Part of Rikka's statement was that he hopes to celebrate more anniversaries with the current members with no one missing and that even by then the possibilities of members could have increased as well.[99]
- Among fans, Rikka's known to be a very good Tetris player considering the amount of Tetris streams he has done as well as even playing with viewers sometimes.
- While Rikka has noted multiple times that he's not that good at Apex Legends, he's quite active and has participated in many tournaments. Fans have also taken note of that sometimes Rikka unknowingly will jump into other members' or acquaintances' Apex streams to play with them.
